Pretty Pictures
Saturday Morning I met Kate and Marjorie at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Our goal was to get some photos of the two of them among the foliage for our Scab press photos. The mission was accomplished. I felt a bit peculiar, nay, a tad perverted taking photos of Kate and Marjorie holding hands and looking curiously into one another’s eyes as parents strolled by us with their children… but HEY, it’s theatre… and we’re exploring bi-curiosity for a good cause.
After a few minutes of dealing with a fogged lens (cold outside + warm conservatory = soft focus) we got down to business. Kate only had 20 minutes on her parking meter so we had to work fast. I was really happy with the way the photos turned out. I even photoshopped the signs with the names of the plants out of the pictures to give the photos an even more natural feel. The results all look something like this:
Doesn't it make you want to see the show even more now?
