Individual Donor Mailing

This Sunday Seth, Dan, Erica, Stephanie, and I put together our first individual donor mailing. We had envelopes, stamps, paper, and most importantly a lot of fun. In the afternoon we were joined by the rest of the company as everyone personalized their letters by writing little notes to each person on the mailing list. We put together this mailing in order to help raise money for the first show of our season, Shotgun Wedding. So if you're on our mailing list you should be receiving a letter in the mail any day now. If you're not on the mailing list and you're interest in donating towards the world premiere of of Shotgun Wedding, don't worry, you can still donate online via PayPal.

All Hallow's Eve

So, this is just a heads up, but there is a Collision Theatre Company Halloween Fundraiser in the works. We're looking into dates and locations at the moment, but there will definately been a killer drink deal, a harrowing costume contest and much more. Any ideas? Let us know in the "comments" section.

Rummage Sale Success

It was an early morning. The sun was not yet shining as Seth, Erica, Dan and I were lugging all sorts of rummage sale odds and ends into the front yard of 2108 W Addison Avenue. Soon Chris arrived with donuts and coffee and the sale officially began. As the last Rummage Sale ended up in a rain storm we kept an keen eye on the radar. By noon we had sold most of the items that were scattered across the lawn. Signs were proped up against the tables: ALL CLOTHES $1, SHOES $2, PURSES $3, etc. Around 2:00 o'clock the radar showed signs of incoming rain showers and we started to pack up. Just as we brought in the last of the clothes, furniture, and bric-a-brac raindrops began to fall. Although we had to end early the sale was a success. We raised over $300 for Shotgun Wedding. Yea. Many thanks to all who donated items as well as Jay for providing us with tables.

Keep an eye out for upcoming events. We're in the process of planning a Halloween Party. So - keep your calendar open. It's gonna be awesome.
